Martin Lepper graduated with an advertising design degree from Kendall School of Design in Grand Rapids, MI. While attending art school, he worked at a well respected sign shop, DeKorne Signs.
He started working in the sign business in 1972. He owned Today's Signs, a sign shop in Alamogordo, New Mexico and then worked at sign shops in Las Vegas, Nevada, and finally, returned to Michigan in 1984 where he began his current sign business, Martin Lepper Signs & Designs.
